About Me!

Discover what drives me as an istrator, ceramicist, and painter!

Carolyn Braley, born 2002 in Forest City, NC, is a multi-disciplinary artist who focuses primarily in illustration, painting, and ceramics. She currently resides in Forest City, NC. Recently, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Appalachian State University, and is now pursuing her career.

With a musical background, Carolyn participates in hobbies such as playing her clarinet and piano. She also enjoys being outside, usually in the mountains where she is hiking, rock climbing, or hammocking. This is where she gains much of her inspiration, as her subjects for her art are primarily based in nature.

She had the opportunity to illustrate two books written by her grandmother entitled, Rebecca’s Angel published by CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform and Ginny the Giraffe  published by Christian Faith Publishing Inc. She has exhibited her work both online and in Boone, NC. Her goal is to create pieces that her audience can connect and relate to. As a Christian, her faith is very important to her, and is reflected in a lot of her work. Her artwork can be found on her Instagram @carolynbraleyart and her website. She can be contacted at her email carolynbraleyart@gmail.com.
